Your information

Privacy policy

This policy explains how Tony Haresign collects and uses personal information when you visit this website, make an enquiry or arrange a service. Personal information is handled in accordance with UK data-protection law, including the UK GDPR.

Who is responsible for your information?

Tony Haresign is the data controller. For privacy questions or requests, email tonyharesign@gmail.com.

What information is collected?

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, the support you are interested in and your message. These details are stored using Lovable Cloud and used to respond to your enquiry. Please avoid including sensitive medical details in this form.

If you book or use a service, relevant contact, booking, billing and information you choose to share may also be needed. Website hosting and analytics services may process technical and usage information, such as your IP address, browser, device and pages visited, to operate and improve the website.

Why your information is used

Information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange and deliver services, manage bookings and payments, meet legal obligations and maintain the website. Depending on the purpose, the lawful basis is taking steps towards or performing a contract, legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running the business, a legal obligation, or consent where required.

Sending an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing. Your information is never sold.

Sharing and external services

Information may be handled by service providers needed to operate the website and deliver services, or disclosed where required by law. Details shared during sessions are kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or there is a serious risk of harm to you or others.

Booking buttons open Calendly in a new tab; book links open Amazon. Information you provide on those services is subject to their own privacy policies. This website does not collect card details through the enquiry form.

Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are used as required by data-protection law, such as approved contractual protections.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it is held. Contact Tony to ask about information relating to you.

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Identity verification may be needed when handling a request.

Cookies and browser settings

Hosting and external services may use cookies or similar browser technologies. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; blocking them may affect some services. Calendly and Amazon explain their use of cookies on their own websites.

Concerns and updates

Please contact Tony using the details above if you have a concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

This policy may be updated when the website or services change. Any updated wording will be published on this page.
