About Tony
Hypnosis, human behaviour and high-stakes performance
My background spans teaching, professional speaking, endurance running and security risk. My fascination with human behaviour started long before I trained in hypnosis.
During COVID I went through a period of depression. It changed how I thought about pressure, recovery and what people are capable of.
Working in the barbershop, I spent years listening to people talk about what was holding them back, often just before the moments that mattered most to them. I learned that trust is built in the first 90 seconds, or not at all.
Movement is what helped me recover. I ran a marathon, then ran the ten highest mountains in the UK in four days. Every step taught me something about performing when your head is telling you to stop.
Humans are more adaptable and resilient than they believe. I've seen it in other people, and I've lived it.
Now my work focuses on one question: what changes when someone who has the ability to perform comes under pressure?
If you are struggling right now

Training
Trained with the Jacquin Hypnosis Academy, with additional study with professional hypnotists Richard Barker and Ravi Mayar. I am a certified hypnotist and hold a Professional Hypnotherapy Diploma from the Jacquin Hypnosis Academy.
That training spans therapeutic change work, conversational hypnosis and performance hypnosis. I have also contributed to the Jacquin Hypnosis Academy's Hypnosis Exchange event in Glasgow, sharing my SET framework with other practitioners.
I don't treat medical or mental health conditions.
